The objectives of the International Piano Duo Competition
The aim of this contest is to raise the artistic standards of piano duo playing and increase the popularity of this medium by introducing more people to the charms of piano duo performance.
International competitions for piano duo compositions and piano duo performance are held on alternate years.
In this way we hope to enhance and develop the field of piano duo music by promoting promising composers and performers.

The renowned Tel Hai International Piano Master Classes enjoys its reputation for over 30 years, attracting annually some 80 pianists from 30 countries.
World renowned faculty have included the late Prof. Bashkirov and Nikolai Petroff, as well as John O'Connor, Alexander Gavrylyuk, Michel Dalberto, Norma Fisher and other leading professors from the USA, Russia, Poland, France, Argentina, Italy, UK, Korea, China, Hungary, Germany and of course Israel.
The Kanazawa-Admony Piano Duo conducts the Piano Duo Course Probing deep into the duo repertoire, preparing for international competitions etc.
The course includes:
- Daily Lessons in the Piano Duo Studio
- Public Piano Duo Master Class in Evens Hall
- Piano Duo Concert in Evens Hall
- Closing Gala at the prestigious Tel Aviv Museum:
With soloists and one piano duo selected by all professors

One of the founder of our association.
Honorary professor of Kunitachi music university.
Ms. Sachiko Kodama was dead, on September 16, 2018.
83 years old. The funeral was finished by private.
She had established the present International Piano Duo Association with late Mr. Kunio Kodama (her husband) and others, and served as a chairperson and a chief director, etc. until 9 years before.
By her, the piano duo was spread among the world and many pupils were brought up.
It'll be expected to open "farewell meeting" by pupil joint sponsorship later.

Our member, Duo Yamamoto (Yuka Yamamoto & Ayaka Yamamoto) were awarded the first prize(Gold) on the Dranoff 2 piano competition on 17 May 2013 in Miami, USA.
They are the Gran Prix winners on the 16th piano duo competition 2010 of our association.
